As part of Acterra's 2015 Public Lecture Series, Wade Crowfoot, deputy cabinet secretary and senior advisor to Governor Brown, will talk about the state's latest efforts to address climate change. DakhaBrakha
The Ukrainian folk-punk quartet DakhaBrakha will play a concert that combines traditional Ukrainian music with African grooves, Eastern colors and a modern attitude. Yom HaShoah V'HaGevurah: Remembrance of the Holocaust and Acts of Courage
This year's South Peninsula Yom HaShoah V'HaGevurah service will focus on the theme of "Liberation: The 70th Anniversary," exploring the time immediately following liberation and the complex responses of Holocaust survivors. The ceremony will include inter-generational song, music, prayer, readings, artwork and a speech by Consul General of Israel Dr. Andy David. April 15, 7-8:30 p.m. Free.
