Astronomy: Lunar mission talk
The monthly meeting of the Peninsula Astronomical Society, tonight, June 14, includes a free talk open to the public with speaker Brian Day of NASA Ames speaking on NASA's LADEE Lunar Mission. Foothill Observatory will open after the meeting, from 9 to 11 p.m., weather permitting. Park in Lot 5. 7:30-9 p.m. $3 parking fee. Foothill College Room 5015, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos.

The opening show of the Palo Alto Players' "Boeing Boeing" will be Saturday, June 15, at 8 p.m. Bernard, an American in Paris with an apartment conveniently located near Orly airport, is a magnet for all the stewardesses who fly through. There will also be a show on Sunday, June 16, at 2:30 p.m. Both are at the Lucie Stern Theater on 1305 Middlefield Road.
