'Fur, Feathers & Fins'
The Pacific Art League will hold an exhibit of 70 pieces of art, ranging from traditional to contemporary, that focus on the theme of animals. The exhibit is juried by Bradley Platz and will benefit The Peninsula Humane Society and the SPCA, with donations collected at the gallery. Author Elliott Ackerman on 'Green on Blue'
Elliott Ackerman, who served five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, will speak in conversation with Stanford University lecturer Anthony Marra about Ackerman's new book "Green on Blue," which portrays a rural family in Afghanistan when their world gets turned upside down. 'She Who Tells a Story'

Crittenden Musical: 'Alice in Wonderland Jr.'

Peninsula Astronomical Society meeting
At the next meeting of the Peninsula Astronomical Society, Dr. Sarah Kernasovskiy of Stanford University will give a free public talk on "Cosmic Microwave Background Polarization and Life at the South Pole."
