Author John Evans on 'Young Widower'
John W. Evans, a recent Stegner Fellow and a creative writing professor at Stanford University, will discuss his memoir "Young Widower," which tells how in 2007 his wife Katie was separated from the group during a hiking trip and then mauled to death by a brown bear. Stanford Shakespeare Company: 'Lear'

'Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead'
Stanford University TAPS will present "Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead," a production directed by Amy Freed of Tom Stoppard's absurd play about two minor characters from Shakespeare's "Hamlet." 'Sunday in the Park with George'
Foothill Music Theatre will put on a production of "Sunday in the Park with George," a Broadway musical -- with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and story by James Lapine -- that centers on a fictionalized Georges Seurat.
