'Low-water Landscapes'
Los Altos Library and GreenTown Los Altos will host an talk by Frank Niccoli from Foothill College and Ashley Carter from Santa Clara Valley Water District, who will discuss ways to create attractive landscaping while saving money and water. Menlo Charity Horse Show
Celebrating its 45th year, this show will feature 500 of the West Coast's top riders competing in three arenas for six days. More than 40 vendors will have items on display and for sale, including art, clothing, jewelry and items for the home, garden and stable. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the grounds and at the Circus Club dining room. Aug. 5-10, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. $10 general (per day); free for children under 12. Rengstorff Arts Festival exhibit
Works by local artists in watercolor, oil, photography, print and fiber will be on display at this month-long show in the Rengstorff House.
