Menlo Charity Horse Show
Celebrating its 45th year, this show will feature 500 of the West Coast's top riders competing in three arenas for six days. More than 40 vendors will have items on display and for sale, including art, clothing, jewelry and items for the home, garden and stable. Food and beverages will be available on the grounds and at the Circus Club dining room. A portion of proceeds from the event will go to the Vista Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Other Voices: Freedom Summer 50th Anniversary
The Peninsula Peace and Justice Center will hold an event to mark the 50th anniversary of the Freedom Summer, when 1000 volunteers went to Mississippi to register black voters in June 1964. Rengstorff Arts Festival exhibit
Works by local artists in watercolor, oil, photography, print and fiber will be on display at this month-long show in the Rengstorff House.
