'War of the Worlds'
This Stanford Repertory Theater production will re-create Orson Welles' 1938 radio broadcast of H.G. Wells' "The War of the Worlds," which tricked some listeners into believing there was an alien invasion. Social Ballroom Dancing
Social ballroom dancing takes place every Friday and Saturday throuhgout the year at Cubberley Pavilion, starting at 8 p.m. with a lesson followed by general dancing. Mountain View Tennis Club tournament
The Mountain View Tennis Club will hold its August tennis tournament, welcoming members of other tennis clubs from Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Los Altos and Tomadachi, and other community members. Participants can play in the morning or afternoon. Participants must be 18 or older; no partner is necessary. Food and prizes will be included. Pacific Ballet Academy open house
