'Decline & Renewal'
The Mohr Gallery will have on display an exhibition called "Decline & Renewal, Mixed Media Works on Paper" by artist Erin Goodwin-Guerrero. An opening reception with the artist will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 8-Sept. 28, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Free. International Dance Festival workshops
In these weeklong workshop for intermediate and advanced dancers, artists Leslie Arbogast, Leanne Rinelli and Leslie Friedman will teach Dunham, Salsa and contemporary dance techniques as part of the International Dance Festival @ Silicon Valley. No prior training necessary for Salsa necessary. The participants will perform in a concert open to the public on Aug. 17. Scholarships are available. Aug. 11-15. $325 for all three workshops (lower rates available for one or two). Mountain View Masonic Center, 890 Church St., Mountain View.

Technology and Society Committee Luncheon Forum
Mike Cassidy -- a former columnist at the San Jose Mercury News and now part of BloomReach, a big data marketing application startup -- will summarize some of his recent writings on women in computing and comment on recent moves by Google, Facebook and Yahoo to disclose the diversity of their workforces.
