'Pygmalion'
In honor of the work's 100th anniversary, the Pear Avenue Theatre will put on a production of George Bernard Shaw's play "Pygmalion," in which a flower girl transforms into an independent heroine. June 20-July 13, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.; Sunday at 2 p.m. $10-$35. Pear Avenue Theatre, 1220 Pear Ave., Unit K, Mountain View.

'Thursday Night Live'
Downtown Mountain View will host "Thursday Night Live," an evening with dining, shopping, children's activities, a farmers' market, live music and a car show. July 10, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Free. Downtown Mountain View, Castro Street, between Evelyn and California, Mountain View.

Summer Outdoor Movie Night Series
For the first in a series of events, a screening of "Monsters University" will be shown at Cuesta Park. The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. or when it becomes dark. Attendees should bring a blanket or lawn chair. The program is sponsored by the City of Mountain View and the Youth Advisory Committee. July 11, 8:30-10 p.m. Free.
