'Capturing Light'
"Capturing Light: The World as We See It" is a judged exhibit and sale of 50 prints by members of the Palo Alto Camera Club, including 12 photos taken in Havana, Cuba. A percentage of proceeds from print sales will go to Cultural Kaleidoscope, a City of Palo Alto program supporting art in local schools. Monday-Friday, March 10-August 28, 8 a.m.-noon; 1-5 p.m. Free. 'Flowers' by Charles Halleck
Bay Area artist Charles Halleck will have on display a series of color photographs of flowers, depicting a variety of flower colors and types. 'Goldilocks On Trial'
As part of its Outdoor Summer "Hot Dog" Theatre, the Palo Alto Children's Theatre will put on an hour-long production of "Goldilocks on Trial," a take on the fairytale classic. Attendees can bring a picnic or purchase hot dogs, ice cream and other food. Gates will open at 5:45 p.m. July 9-19, 6:30-7:30 p.m. $12 child; $14 adult. Palo Alto Children's Theatre, Magic Castle Stage, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.

Author Kim Stolz with 'Unfriending My Ex'
