Theater: 'Mauritius'
The Theresa Rebeck play "Mauritius" opens at 8 p.m. tonight, Nov. 4, at the Pear Avenue Theatre, 1220 Pear Ave., Unit K, Mountain View. The story centers on sibling rivalry and greed sparked by a stamp album left in a will. The show runs through Nov. 20, Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15-$30.

Weekend, Nov. 5 & 6
Family: "Ramona Quimby"
Los Altos Youth Theatre's final performance of "Ramona Quimby," based on the classic children's book, is at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, at Bus Barn Theater, 97 Hillview Ave., Los Altos. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 children and seniors.

Dance: Theatre Flamenco
Theatre Flamenco celebrates its 45th anniversary this weekend, Nov. 4-5, with its performance of "45 Anos de Arte Flamenco" at Mountain View Center for the Arts, 500 Castro St. Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $45. Professional dancers will be joined by master guitarist Jose Luis Rodriguez, Gypsy singers and musical guests.

Community: 'Halloween Never Ends' at Rengstorff House
Spooky tours of the historic Rengstorff house this weekend, Nov. 5-6, explore the house's haunted history, as well as Victorian amusements and mourning rituals, with tours every 20 minutes. 7:30-9:30 p.m. $15. Rengstorff House at Shoreline, 3070 N. Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View.


Community: Diwali celebration

A free public celebration of Diwali, the Indian festival of lights, is planned from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, at Stanford University's Old Union. The event will include religious rituals, sweets and dancing.
